Where are you from?
I live in The Netherlands and The Hague is my home town. My parents are from Hong Kong.
Which languages do you speak?
I speak Dutch, English and Cantonese.
Why do you blog in English instead of Dutch?
Of course I can blog in Dutch since I am from The Netherlands, but not everyone can read Dutch. By blogging in English people from other countries can read my blog as well.
Your blog name is Lychee Dreams, what does that mean?
One of my favorite fruits happens to be lychee. I know this has nothing to do with my Yankee Candle blog at all, but one can dream right? For now I haven’t found any lychee scents from Yankee Candle, but I hope that Yankee Candle will release a scent in the future which contains this amazing fruit!
What kind of camera do you use?
Actually I don’t use any camera at this moment for my blog, except for my iPhone 5S. I do have a Nikon Camera, but I think it’s easier this way to take photos with my iPhone and upload it directly to WordPress.
When do you blog?
There are no specific days that I will be blogging. I guess I just blog whenever I feel like it, but I try to post a few blogs in a week.
Where do you buy Yankee Candle?
I buy Yankee Candle mostly online. I listed a lot of my favorite webshops here, but sometimes I do buy them via eBay as well.
Does anyone pay you to write about Yankee Candle?
No, this blog is just written out of my own interest. I thought what is a better way to share my reviews on Yankee Candle? That’s when I decided to launch this blog.
Do you get free Yankee Candle to blog about?
Unfortunately no, what you see on my blog is from my personal collection.
Why do you blog so often about US exclusive or retired scents by Yankee Candle?
Since Yankee Candle have so many different scents it is quite tempting for me to get a lot of US exclusive or retired scents. That’s why my blog has a lot of reviews on them. With my reviews you can always decide for yourself whether you would like to get these US exclusive or retired scents, although I do have to admit that some scents might be hard to find.
Will you blog about other brands?
For now I have decided to stick with one brand on my blog and that is Yankee Candle.
